QR Code Link to This Post This is a 12.5 KW backup generator designed to be permanently mounted in your garage, basement, etc. It is not one of the modern "toys", it is designed to put out full power, and the 4 cylinder Onan engine has the horsepower to do it. It is currently mounted in a pickup box trailer with a clamshell mounted topper, and a weather covered cooling and intake hood, and hot air and exhaust port. This unit is designed to be hooked to a transfer switch so during a power outage, you simply flip the switch and start the engine. Propane power means it starts easily in all weather. The trailer has a 100 pound automotive propane tank mounted on the hitch. This has a murphy automatic shutdown system in case of loss of oil pressure, which shuts off the engine, and an electric propane supply valve. It has been used very little, and is very simple and reliable. You won't be disappointed.
